One handle, half of lower body, and parts of rim and upper body restored.

Scraped groove between moldings of foot; flat resting surface; pointed underside. Offset at base of body. Ivy-leaf thumb rest.

Delicate ivy garland running right with single ribbons at ends.

Undulating main stem overpainted white; outlined leaves on stems alternate with dot rosettes. Metallic black glaze, brownish black below stacking line.

Outlined ivy leaves are rare but not unique: see P 4064 (H. A. Thompson 1934, B 22, p. 339, fig. 19 [H 16:3, north chamber], probably by the same hand), 332, and 1224; Watzinger 1924, G 2, p. 681, pl. 50; Schaal 1923, pl. 59:e.
