Description: | Fragment of discus and rim; part of left side of discus preserved. Nozzle broken away. Οuter part of rim plain; inner part has three circular ridges surrounding discus. Discus, shows figure, upper part only, seated on bench or chair, facing right. Figure is nude except for pointed cap (high coiffure?). On nozzle, remains of large double volute, projecting beyond edge of rim, and forming transition from rim to nozzle. Thin wash, reddish-brown to black, slightly metallic where best preserved on volute. Grayish-buff clay. Type XXIII of Corinth collection. | |
