Description: | Much missing; no join between neck and body fragments, but profile can be restored. Made up in plaster, without foot. Plump eggy body on ring foot, the wall forming an angle with the shoulder; continuous concave curve from below lip to shoulder angle. Broadly projecting lip, flat on top. Thick band handles, from below lip to near edge of shoulder. Single wheel run groove around shoulder above handle attachments. Sandy buff clay, gray at core. | |
