Description: | Four fragments preserve part of the rim, walls and floor of the pyxis; one piece of the lid remains. Glazed above foot, then bands. Around body, panels filled by hatched quatrefoils with stars between petals; between panels three sets of quadruple verticals, separated by vertical dot rows. Above, bands and a row of dots. Flanged rim glazed and pierced by tie holes. On bottom, dot ring and bands; at the center, hatched quatrefoil with stars between petals. Inside unglazed. On lid fragment, bands and dot rows. Red glaze. | |
