Description:   Loomweight with flat bottom, edges of which worn, wide flaring body to bevel, contracting toward tip. Pierced horizontally for suspension. Bevel worn or slightly flattened on either side. Corinth XII Profile IX.
Writing:   stamp. Nearly round gem stamp below bevel on one side, largely smeared. Possibly represented: seated or crouching figure facing right with head covering; at lower left an upright element, tail? In field to upper right. a thin upright element, a bow? Herakles?
Material:   Fine greenish clay, fired to darker brownish-yellow in places, with rare fine black mudstone inclusions.

Condition:   Fragment. Single fragment, broken from suspension hole up.
